Ray of Light is dedicated to community aid projects that provide essential support to underprivileged families and individuals who often fall through the cracks of institutional help. Additionally, Ray of Light offers domestic violence support for women and their children seeking refuge from abusive situations. Our mission is to ensure that those in need have access to enough food, clothing, and basic necessities to live with dignity.
Our vision is to create a community where every person, regardless of their background, has access to the support they need to thrive. Through our community aid projects, we aim to bring light and hope to those facing domestic violence and to support underprivileged families during their darkest times.
Ray of Light was established in memory of Raymond Chesler, a kind and compassionate man who believed in helping others. Founded by Madeleine Judith Schwarcz, this initiative has been actively involved in community aid projects for over 17 years, supporting families and individuals in need. Madeleine has dedicated her life to volunteering and assisting those less fortunate, particularly through domestic violence support programs. Inspired by her late husband’s legacy of kindness and generosity, she created Ray of Light to ensure that no one is left behind. Through this initiative, Madeleine and her team of dedicated volunteers work tirelessly to provide essential support to underprivileged families and the most vulnerable members of our community.

At Ray of Light, we believe in the power of community and compassion. Our community aid projects are designed to provide immediate and effective support to those who need it most, including vital domestic violence support. From providing trauma aid to supplying toys for children in shelters, each initiative reflects our commitment to supporting underprivileged families and making a difference.
